PrepSheet

Terms of Service

Last updated · June 26, 2026

These terms govern your use of PrepSheet. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What PrepSheet is

PrepSheet is a planning tool that helps independent caterers estimate food portions, food costs, and suggested client quotes from a guest count. It is a calculator and organizer — not an accountant, and not a substitute for your own judgment.

Important: estimates only

All portion amounts, food costs, margins, and quote figures PrepSheet produces are estimates based on general industry guidelines and the numbers you enter. They are provided for guidance only and are not professional, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying every figure against your own recipes, suppliers, labor, overhead, and local conditions before relying on it or quoting a client. PrepSheet is not responsible for business decisions you make using these estimates.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the service. In particular, don't use PrepSheet for unlawful purposes, attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it or other users' data, or attempt to copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the service.

Your content

The menus and data you create remain yours. You grant us permission to store and process that data only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

PrepSheet is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The app is currently free and under active development; features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We may add, modify, or discontinue features over time.

Paid features

We may offer paid features in the future. If we do, any purchase will be governed by additional terms presented to you at the time of purchase. Nothing in the current free app requires payment.

No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepSheet is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepSheet and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits, lost business, or losses arising from your reliance on estimates produced by the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for the free app, is zero).

Termination

You may stop using PrepSheet and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
